Q: Why is this called Reverse?

A: Leaders of the reverse experience believe there are systems of this world creating the massive divide between the city and suburbs. Just a few of those include systems that breed poverty, consumerism, racism, and arrogance. We believe this generation has the ability and capacity to identify these systems and reverse them to see the systems of God's kingdom fill the metro Detroit area.

Q: Can my students room with their friends?

A: We will do our best to accommodate your requests, however we cannot promise that students will be with their persons of choice. This week is about stepping into the uncomfortable and creating new relationships with those that are coming from a different context. Again, our High school directors will do our best but we cannot guarantee this.

Q: Can a student or leader drive to the week long experience and then back home through out the week?

A: No. This is a full immersion experience meaning students, leaders, and staff will remain in community within the community all week. Only for emergency purposes will students or leaders be allowed to leave Wayne State to go back home.

Q: Is this safe for my student?

A: Our leadership has done our very best to provide a safe environment for our students to learn about the dangerous teachings of Christ. For this reason there will be professional security teams at all times during the week, with a 3 to 1 student to leader ratio for most church partners.

Q: Is it ok to come to this camp if I'm not a Christian?

A: Yes. We have developed opportunities, services, and content that are accessible to all. In fact our hope is that Christian students would use this camp to invite friends who do not believe in the person of Jesus Christ. Again we believe that you will find all environments, opportunities, and content to be challenging yet exciting for the person who is not a Christian or does not go to church.

Q: What does the 199 dollars cover?

A: The $199.00 covers all food, housing, and activity costs for the entire week.

Q: What should I bring?

A: A bible (if you have one), a pillow, sheets for a single bed, ear plugs in case you get stuck with a snorer, any kind of snack food for outside of meal time, clothing for both hot and cool temperatures, sports wear, bathing suite, and extra money in case you want anything above what the $199 covers.

Q: What can't I bring?

A: Please refrain from bringing Ipods and cell phones. Obviously there are no weapons, drugs, alcohol, or nicotine allowed on this trip. Directors maintain the right to send students home for violating these rules.
